This was a 28 lot residential subdivision and was completed in November 2014. Following the initial clearing there was a significant amount of import fill needed to bring the site up to surrounding ground level. Due to the proximity of the high voltage overhead power lines this was undertaken under full time traffic Management and the supervision of a Western Power RIC. All works were completed without incident.
There were two existing, inhabited houses that remained as part of the works. Both required temporary sheet piling and grout injection to stabilise whilst constructing the nine course limestone retaining walls to the rear of the lots.
The existing sewer connection point was 7m deep and over 220m of the main sewer line was greater than 4m deep.
